The Southwest Cajun Fest is set to return on February 3rd, 2024 at Dr. AJ Chandler Park in Downtown Chandler. An immersive experience taking you to the streets of NOLA.
The 10th Annual Southwest Cajun Fest celebrates Cajun culture, cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. Guests will be transported to New Orleans during this one-of-a-kind event with French Quarter-style backdrops in our Bourbon Street Experience that includes beads tossed from second story balconies, street performers, stilt walkers, jugglers, magicians and a brass marching band.
Enjoy the taste of New Orleans favorites, like gumbo, frog legs, beignets, po boys, hush puppies, catfish, alligator bites, a seafood boil and “The Swamp” bar featuring hand crafted hurricanes, daiquiri’s and other themed cocktails. Other highlights include a live alligator petting zoo, eating competitions, and a kids zone featuring rides and inflatables.
The New Orleans speakeasy. A hidden and clandestine bar that thrived during the Prohibition era, embodies the city’s unique blend of history, culture, and revelry.

The Legendary Ils Sont Partis Band featuring Sir Reginald Masters Dural aka Buckwheat, Jr. the son of the late great Zydeco legend Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural, Jr. Buckwheat, Jr has shared the stage with some of the greats like Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Mavis Staples, Albert Collins, Dwight Yokem, David Hidalgo and Los Lobos, Buddy Guy and many, many more.

NOLAZ Band
NOLAZ Band plays groove and soul music from New Orleans, LA (NOLA). From The Neville Brothers to Allen Toussaint, The Meters to Harry Connick Jr., and Dirty Dozen Brass Band to Trombone Shorty there is a particular musical character that stems from New Orleans.

Funkhaus Brass Band
Funkhaus Brass Band is a New Orleans Second Line street jazz band. Their music includes original dance music, funky street beats, traditional Dixieland, gospel and swing, and pop songs reinterpreted with a brass band sound. Powered by tuba, drums, trumpets, saxophones, and trombones, Funkhaus Brass Band is bringing their Mardi Gras energy to Southwest Cajun Fest.

You can purchase your admission ticket in advance via the website using a credit/debit card. On the day of the festival, you must purchase tickets online using the website or provided QR code at the entrance using credit/debit card.

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and memorable experience for all event guests. In order to do so, a strict code of conduct has been created and all event participants and patrons are expected follow these rules.
Guests will show respect for the event location, grounds, coordinators, vendors, sponsors and participants by leaving the following items at home:

• Coolers and outside food or beverage
• Bicycles, skateboards, skates
The following actions will result in immediate ejection of festival grounds:
Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone.
Possession or use of illegal drugs or excessive and irresponsible use of alcohol.
Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.
Taunting, abusive or disruptive language and obscene gestures.
An individual participating in any of these behaviors will be removed from the event and passes will be revoked. In certain situations, the offender may be arrested.
